Well we're coming up to our second wedding anniversary and i can still remember what it was like to put on the finished dress for the first time. It's true what they say about how important the dress is for the bride. Everyone at the wedding was busy taking photos of the dress all day as they couldn't believe the amount of detail and careful crafting that had gone into it. It really was the star of the show!!! For me though what was more important was what it was like to work with Jackie during the making of the dress. I took a torn out picture to show her and she carefully guided me through deciding the fabrics. Going to see her for the regular fittings was a joy and i felt i could trust her judgement completely - she really knows her stuff!!! By the end of the process i felt I'd made a friend which was so much more important than getting someone in a shop to make a one off judgement about what will suit you. I cannot thank you enough for how you contributed to my day!
Thank you for making me a wonderful dress which fitted like a glove and I felt very comfortable in the whole day, many people have said it's the nicest wedding dress out of all the weddings loads better than theirs which is down to you.
Thank you so much for the effort you have put into creating our outfits. Our day will be very special and we both agree that we will look (and feel) like "a million dollars". Your personal touch and thoughtfulness has made it all the more memorable. Thanks again, love Rachel and Jan

The first thing most brides-to-be do is embark on the search for the perfect dress. Soon enough this can turn out to become a very difficult task.
I must have looked at hundreds of pretty dresses without finding any that I could say ‘hand on heart’ tickled my fancy. Well, that was until I met Jackie and saw her magnificent collection. Wait till you see Jackie’s creations and you will know exactly what I mean.
Since our first meeting I have been constantly amazed and astonished by Jackie’s never-ending enthusiasm, hard work, creativity, skill as well as her genuine care.
To Jackie each dress is a personal project and a unique journey for the two of you that is thoroughly enjoyable and increasingly more and more exciting. You will be there every step of the way from ideas on a piece of paper to a toile. Then on from toile to silks, final fittings and all the decisions on the details that will make your dress absolutely bespoke. This is the most fantastic journey and towards the final stages you will find it hard to contain your excitement.
Personally, I love the way Jackie incorporates embroidery and colour with elegance and fine silks. The quality is outstanding, the detail impeccable, the fabrics exquisite, each dress unique. It is this that gives Jackie’s creations their soul.
Each and every guest at our wedding, not to mention Lee, was absolutely blown away by my fantastic dress and now my friend Laura is having her wedding dress made by Jackie. I am sure Laura’s dress will also be out of this world without one little detail left untouched.
Thank God I found you Jackie. I can not thank you enough.

I would whole heartedly recommend Jackie Thompson Couture. Jackie produced a beautiful, unique dress for me and I was delighted by the finished result.
